MIND & BODY CONNECTIONS

I was in my second semester clinical rotations for Psychiatric Mental Health, when I noticed some client had gastrointestinal issues such as diarrhea and cramps with antidepressants. I went back home and researched about the side effects of the medications and recalled in psychopharmacology that most serotonin receptors (indicated in mood regulation) are located in the gut. Ah Ha! so if your gut is not right you mood will be affected. I researched and researched and fount that Gut Health is important and closely related to your mood. There ways to maintain a healthy gut. Call us t 561-909-8555 to find out more! primary mental health care
